Ganden Monastery: Ganden Monastery (full name: Ganden Langgyeling, Qing Dynasty Emperor Shizong once gave the name: Yongshou Monastery), located on Wanggur Mountain in Datse District, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region. Its main buildings include Tsongkhapa's dormitory and the Great Sutra Hall. , monks' houses and other palaces were later built or expanded many times and are scattered all over Wanggur Mountain.

Garden Monastery is the most special temple among the six major monasteries of the Yellow Sect. It was personally planned and built in 1409 by Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is the ancestral temple of the Gelug Sect and is the same as Drepung Monastery. , Sera Temple are collectively known as the "Three Major Temples" in Lhasa. The temple preserves more than 90 pagodas containing the remains of Ganden Tripas of all dynasties, as well as many cultural relics and handicrafts since the Ming Dynasty.

In 1961, the Garden Monastery was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
