Bangong Lake is located about 12 kilometers northwest of Ritu County in Ngari Prefecture. It is an inland lake that originally belonged to China at the junction of Ritu County and Kashmir in China (according to the actual line of control between China and India in 1959, this lake is still controlled by China. my country does not recognize the current Line of Actual Control).
